All models on this website are Thai nationals with verified Thailand identification certifying date of birth. All models are over the age of 18 and have signed adult model releases giving us permission to use their images and videotape. Model releases were available to the women in both Thai and English. Many, if not most of these women are interested in marriage to a foreigner. All of the models are currently working in Thailand's "adult entertainment" industry as bargirls, nude dancers, live sex performers, massage parlor girls, escorts, etc. in Thai commercial establishments. Although this is the environment in which we met these women, we believe that these girls are fairly normal young women. The girls are mostly from the province of Isaan in Northern Thailand. Most of the women speak some English and have had formal Thai schooling equivalent to high school in western countries. Some have advanced schooling and have taken English classes in the hopes of meeting an American husband. Virtually all of the women are Buddhist. The girls come to the cities of Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phukett in search of work and hopefully marriage. We believe we captured the true essence of these women and made friends with all of them. Rather than exploit the girls, we tried to photograph them and document their lives in a dignified way. We suspect that most of these young women are not "career adult entertainers"---they are in this life for a short time because of economic necessity---and it is our sincere hope that we can help them achieve their goal of marriage to someone who will care for them. Please do not call these girls "prostitutes"---they are simply the sweetest, nicest young women in the world, and they make the world's finest companions, soul mates, and wives.
